Date:Reported: Artemis MOm / The Monachus Guardian
Observation: A newborn female monk seal pup was found on Blefoutis beach after a strong winter storm. MOm's diary states that she was discovered on 10 December, then rescued and rehabilitated; later release and death are separate events.
